If you have food allergies (or are trying to be trendy and cool), then this is the place to shop. Their food is really good. They have prepackaged items in their fridge and also pre-made cookies and treats. Their prices are pretty high, but they also cater to a certain niche of people. I don't mind paying extra to know that their food is made a completely gluten free kitchen because my family has Celiacs Disease.

My family came here for dinner tonight and our waiter was Carlos. He was an exceptional server- we got to try a variety of hot sauces and 2 amazing deserts. They were able to accommodate gluten free very easily as well. Thank you to Carlos for a wonderful experience!

I absolutely love Local Foods, and I also want to shout out January who works with catering orders. I recently placed an order for light bites for a group of about 100 people, and January and the whole staff were incredible. J went back and forth with me to get the order just perfect, it DID come out perfect, they helped me carry it to my car, it was perfectly on time, I really can't say enough about it. If you need lunches or meals or light bites, you should feel great about ordering from Upper Kirby Local Foods. Also everything was delicious. I got such good feedback at the event, AND gluten-free and vegan people ate their fill. GO JANUARY, GO LOCAL FOODS!!

This is a great spot for lunch. We often order takeout when we’re on the go and looking for a quick and satisfying bite to eat. I'm a huge fan of their paninis and hot sandwiches. If you’re looking for a place that offers Gluten Free and Vegan options then you’re in luck because they’re one of the few restaurants that cater to these types of dietary options. It’s not a huge restaurant, but the service is excellent and the owners and chef always greet you with a smile.
