Small indoor area with outdoor seating and some incredible food. I think about them a lot and wish they were closer. Gluten free is easy here.

I have had both experiences at this place. delivery and dining in. Both of them were great. When I ordered food to be delivered, service was fast and food was hot and exactly the way I ordered. The place in the restaurant is very welcoming , Friendly and quick service .The menu is very diversified and includes gluten free options. If you are looking for a reasonable priced restaurant with great food and service, this is the place. highly recommend.

Has become one of my favorite places. The cocktails are delicious, the food is great, and they are gluten free/celiac friendly. I will go back.

I got my first Vegan chops on at the Marketplace and learned what was available for an alternative diet choice. I've been steak and potatoes diner for life so i'll just report experience was pleasing. Discovering The Newtown Marketplace even offered the IMPOSSIBLE BURGER took a bit of sleuthing but I spotted it on a menu photo taken by another helpful Google user. First off, I learned unless you're after a full vegan moment order this with the softer Brioche roll. The included Toasted Baguette is made dairy free and fell apart too easily for my taste. That kinda took away from the psudo meaty burger eating experience. What was in between the buns was a pleasing mix of ingredients that would garner a star sticker from my doctor. The plant patty was beef-like and flavorful enough to trick my senses into believing another bovine just got his wings and the dressings were a pleasing mix of fresh vegetables. Served with garlic potato's this was a pleasing alternative. I knew what I desired in this dining experience but the staff wasn’t fully apprised on what they were offering. If you’re serving farm-to-table know your crop. I'm not ready to write home yet because... 1. The staff accurately stated this product contained gluten but mistakenly pointed out to me this product is touted as gluten free on the internet. I hadn’t read that anywhere in anticipation of my first restaurant quality vegan meal. Wheat has gluten so accurately labeling it as VEGAN is all that was needed to be said. TMI was less than helpful 2. IMPOSSIBLE does offer a gluten-free patty that just won awards at the CES 2019. Problem was, when asked, the chef staff couldn’t tell me if this was Vers. 1 (Gluten) or Vers. 2 (Gluten-Free). 3. Some area restaurants are serving Vers.2 but it was bought to my attention this restaurant is changing their menu in a few week and they were not even sure if the IMPOSSIBLE was going to be available at that point. Disappointing. Overall I’ve eaten at the Marketplace at Lexington Gardens and the dining experience is always excellent. My server did give me loads of points for the next time I dine out vegan. While I am looking to expand my dietary choices it would be nice if I didn’t get the feeling the IMPOSSIBLE BURGER wasn’t being showcased like a redheaded stepchild and treated more like part of the family. It’s a formidable choice on so many fronts.

We follow medical medium and this place is amazing! We tried one of almost everything on the menu. Absolutely LOVED the wrap, the Mexican lasagna (although a bit dry), twice baked sweet potatoes, empanada, and the frozen naan and bagels are to die for! Thank you for working hard to bring us healthy options without gluten, dairy, canola oil, eggs, etc… This place is a dream for anyone with allergies to those items, as the kitchen is designated gf/df!

I absolutely love the Barnwood because of the gluten free choices !! We have been going there for year's and I have never had a problem with anything gluten free that I have ordered !!! This passed Sunday I ordered the riceball and the stuffed squash blossoms they said they were gluten free and for dinner duck which said gluten free also. Well we got our appetizers and the we waited over an hour to get our dinner ( because they lost our order. We finally got aye paid the bill. Half way home I got very sick and was sick all night. I think the squash blossoms were not gluten free and was miss marked. I always tell the wait staff that I am gluten free. I have celiac I am happy I didn't end up in the ER.
