The staff were very nice and helpful. I bought a bunch of vegan/ gluten-free items for lunch and dessert and they were all delicious. Great chili and corn bread, yummy mock tuna wrap, delicious carrot cake. I highly recommend this cafe/bakery. Wish they were in San Francisco!!!!

Service here was great! Flatbread came out quick and salad was tasty. Lots of beer choices and they had super safe GLUTEN FREE pizzas and salads. It made my wife, who has celiac disease, feel really safe. The crust was prepared and cooked on an aluminum pan to avoid cross contamination and the toppings were so varied that it did not get boring. It would have been nice if they were more generous with said toppings though. Great food and great atmosphere and the wood fired oven made everything unique.

Jo's American Bistro is the place where you can eat a bacon jam burger in what looks to be your rich uncle's living room. To explain further, the decor feels like you can spend some time looking at the menu, and enjoying the hospitality of the venue. Other restaurants may specialize in a churn 'n burn style of service, but Jo's really feels like you go here with the intent of a Christmas dinner quality. Even in July. But enough about the decor, which has earthy tones and rich trim patterns. The menu is moderately sized, giving enough options but not overwhelming someone with choices when hungry. Multiple burger options were available, which led to the choice of the Bacon Jam Burger. Starting off with the cocktail menu was the right idea. A cocktail called the "Desert Flower" included tequila (or mezcal, was it?) and was sweet enough to be called the "Dessert Flower." Some cocktails have a taste profile that buzzes down the mandible in some kind of sensory dance. This cocktail was one of those. Recommended for those who imbibe responsibly! Gluten-free options are available. A freshly baked roll was available for an extra $2, worth it with some butter. That same roll was used for the burger, a good enough substitute for the real thing. It was wonderful to hear the server say that the fryolator for the french fries was separate from the glutenous items. A separate and dedicated fryolator for the French fries? Sounds good to me. There is no information available on the business' sustainability practices.

Took my partner here on our first anniversary this evening because they had an amazing looking gluten-free menu, and we were NOT disappointed. Our waitress was topnotch, the food was amazing, and I can't wait to come back again. Highly recommend it, even if it is in a more touristy area of town.

Super tasty lunch - we ordered way too much food but it was all good. Falafel wrap was good, needed a little something extra, maybe a sauce to dip it in? Nachos were killer and the fact that their fryer was celiac friendly was a huge plus. Service was great!

Absolutely delicious for someone like me who must be gluten free, they have dedicated fryers for gf foods. They even have a separate menu with just gf items. Never misses in my opinion and I've had quite a few different dishes there. The wait can sometimes be a little long but definitely worth it knowing the food is being handled with care.

F9r a vegan, their tofu scramble and gluten free bread hit the spot. Loved to food and service. Dark Bar atmosphere is not my kinda of thing but I sat outdoors so it was okay. Well worth a visit

Navigating the challenging parking situation at Bowen's Wharf, Diego's offers a delightful experience with its exceptional food. I indulged in the flavorful Korean BBQ pork belly tacos and Crispy Brussels with Ponzu and Garlic for appetizers--delicious! Accompanied by a generously poured margarita served in a mason jar glass, the traffic involved in getting here became much more manageable. While perusing the menu, I made mental notes of other appetizers and entrees for a future visit. The Arugula & Street Corn Salad caught my eye, and I'm intrigued by the tempting description of Pimientos de Sal (shishito peppers with aioli). Diego's also boasts a full Vegan menu, not just a few options, which I find commendable. Oyster Mushroom tacos, Roasted Beet and Butternut Squash tacos, and Buffalo Cauliflower Burrito--all sound appetizing, even for a non-vegan like me. They also offer a complete Gluten-Free menu. (Note: If you choose to park in the lot where The Mooring Seafood & Kitchen Bar is located, be prepared for steep parking fees.)

Food was amazing! Great gf options and really appreciated that they understood the severity of Celiac's. Service was great as well! Thanks Monika for making our dinner so great!
