Came here the other day, staying in State College for local ATVing, visiting from Buffalo. Girlfriend is gluten free, so we always look for places that have gluten free buns. This place even has a separate fryer for the fries, and the server was knowledgeable of this. My custom made pretzel bun burger was perfect. The server was great as well. We will come back every time we are in town.

Shake Shack is the absolute peak of fast food. Nothing can even come close to it. Shake Shack is so much more than just good fast food that I think it leaves every chain restaurant and most all casual dining in the dust. It is simple, but it's consistent and it's delicious. I've never had a bad experience at this location, either. They have the BEST gluten free buns as well. Not even the dedicated gluten free bakeries around here have buns as good as Shake Shack. If it sounds like I'm gushing... I am. If I were to craft my ideal last meal, a double Shackburger with bacon would be a part of it. If there was one thing to complain about, it is a little pricey, but it's so good that I feel it's worth the price so that doesn't even bother me. Long live the Shack.
