Great option for gluten free Irish pub food in Chicago! They have a separate gluten free menu, dedicated gluten free fryer, and food comes out with gluten free markers. My boyfriend has celiac disease and got the GF fish and chips and was happy as a clam! Basically identical menu to Wilde Bar in Lakeview (their sister restaurant I think?). This is now a new neighborhood fav!

The food was tasty. I had two different bowls there as I flew in and out of O'Hare. I do have celiac disease and they might not be the safest. The meat and the rice are pulled from the same container that everyone else gets their food so there is a potential for cross contamination. All of the toppings though are pulled from underneath the food prep area so they have not touched other items before and would definitely be gluten-free. I did not end up getting sick but there's definitely a good possibility of it. The staff is quite nice and try to accommodate by scooping things out with a bull rather than using the utensils that everyone else did. They also watch their hands and change their gloves before making my bowl.

Summer House was a wonderful dining experience. They had plenty of gluten-free options, and they took great consideration to not cross contaminate. Their cocktails were great, and I was happy they had a gluten free cookie for dessert.

Brunch Bliss at Beatrix for Chicago Restaurant Week: A $25 Delight! Beatrix absolutely outdid themselves for Chicago Restaurant Week brunch! Stepping into the vibrant atmosphere was just the first hint of the deliciousness to come. And speaking of deliciousness, let's dive into the EMMY'S GLUTEN FREE CREAM CHEESE COFFEE CAKE and lemon blueberry muffin. Both were divine - the coffee cake boasted moist crumb and a tangy cream cheese swirl that sent my taste buds soaring, while the muffin was bursting with juicy blueberries and a perfectly balanced citrus zing. For drinks, the orange mimosa was classic perfection, and the MANGO, ORANGE & PINEAPPLE NECTAR was a tropical surprise, fresh and vibrant with every sip. Now, onto the main event: the HOT HONEY FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH. Oh my! Crispy coating met juicy, perfectly cooked chicken, all nestled in a light and fluffy bun. The sweet heat of the honey was spot-on, though a touch more spice wouldn't have gone amiss. But hey, that's just my personal preference - this sandwich was still a slam dunk! The WONDERFUL EGG WHITE OMELET lived up to its name. Packed with fluffy egg whites, creamy cheddar, tender spinach, and pops of avocado and tomato salsa, it was a symphony of flavors and textures. It also felt like a healthy indulgence thanks to the turkey bacon (which, by the way, was crispy and delightful). For just $25 per person, this Chicago Restaurant Week brunch at Beatrix was an absolute steal. From the pastries to the main course, everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, leaving us happily satisfied but not overly stuffed. The service was friendly and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're looking for a fantastic brunch spot during Chicago Restaurant Week, look no further than Beatrix. Trust me, your taste buds (and wallet) will thank you! Highlights: EMMY'S GLUTEN FREE CREAM CHEESE COFFEE CAKE and lemon blueberry muffin - melt-in-your-mouth goodness HOT HONEY FRIED CHICKEN SANDWICH - crispy, juicy, and perfectly balanced WONDERFUL EGG WHITE OMELET - a healthy and satisfying choice Orange mimosa and MANGO, ORANGE & PINEAPPLE NECTAR - refreshing and delicious Excellent value for $25 - generous portions, fresh ingredients, and attentive service Overall: A must-try for Chicago Restaurant Week brunch!

A friend brought home (Orlando) the Gingerbread Glutenless donut all the way from Chi and I have to say that was the BEST gluten-free donut I have ever had. I can't wait to come visit Chicago some day and check this place out in person.
