Zucchini kill is awesome! We ordered several different flavors of cupcakes for my husband's 40th birthday, and everyone loved them. A few people at the party were gluten free or vegan, so it was great that these gluten free, vegan, soy free, cupcakes were loved by all! An added bonus is the size, they're not mini, and they're not huge, so there's no guilt in trying at least two... because it's impossible to pick just one flavor 😀

As a long time wedding and event planner, choosing Cakes Rock for my wedding was a NO BRAINER! Christie is a literal cake wizard with her design and the flavors of her cake are so delicious! We did a take home cake tasting box with our parents and it took us almost an hour to decide which flavors to choose because everything was so yummy! Ultimately, we went with an all gluten free raspberry cake with fresh raspberries and almond buttercream. Everyone at the wedding absolutely loved it and, had we not told them, said they would never have guessed it was gluten free because it was so moist and the texture was perfect. Our cake design required fondant which is typically really gross and something you just don't eat. When my husband and I were tasting the cake, we initially ate around the fondant but then when we did try the fondant, it was really delicious too! I can't tell you how many wedding cakes I have tried from being a planner for 10+ years, and I have NEVER enjoyed the fondant. Yes, Cakes Rock is a bit more expensive than the other Austin bakers but it is 10000000% worth it! Spend the money and hire them! You will not regret it.

Brentwood has decent options for folks on vegan or gluten free diets. I tried a vegan shepherd's pie that was delicious. They have some creative drink options like a water melon cucumber refresher. There is a playground outside and a special room inside for families with kids.

This is the third time ive been in this coffee shop. The women running this place were all about good service and keeping it clean. I had the large Americano Coffee and ( DIGGIT! ) A gluten free Banana Nut Muffin. Actually gluten free. There were a variety of pastries, including raspberry muffins and frosted pumpkin muffins. The ambiance in the place was relaxed and invited me to join the conversation.

Best gluten free cupcake I’ve had in a long time! The frosting was insanely delicious and creamy and tasted super fresh. The cake could have been a little fluffier but I know GF is hard. The staff and the owner were all so friendly and helpful!

We had a delicious dinner here! Being gluten free, it was incredibly exciting to find a place with fantastic vietnamese food that was also trustworthy. I always adore noodle bowls with chicken (not soup), and spring rolls, and both were just great. The servers were helpful and knowledgeable about keeping us GF safe, which we really appreciated. The only down side for this place is that it is well known, so it gets very crowded and the wait on the weekend can be a bummer. It also takes away from the atmosphere when you have to raise your voice to converse with friends. But if you stay away from the busy times, this place is a gem!!
