We lucked into this place — we saw that it had “the best sushi in Portland” and my teenager scoffed and said, “I’ll believe when I taste it.” He’s a believer. We have to eat gluten-free so we ordered the usual GF appetizers — salad and edamame. Then we realized that almost the entire menu, *including tempura!!* is gluten-free! We ignored the salad and loaded up on shrimp tempura, sushi rolls with tempura, and sashimi. All of it was excellent and we crawled out of there, fat and happy. Highly recommend.

I ate there once for lunch and just can't forget the Tonkotsu ramen! The beef shoyu is yummy too. The service is great here. This place is located immediately to your right when you walk into H-Mart, with bar stool seating only. The menu is simple and offer gluten free noodles and chicken upon request.

This place is very relaxed and pleasant. The food is prepared neatly and with care, with many clearly labeled gluten free options for my girlfriend.
